Social Learning tools are those tools used for pedagogical and androgogical purposes that utilize social soft ware and or social media in order to facilitate leaning through interactions between people and systems. Therefore these tools help the students to interact themselves and with their teachers (www.wikipedia.org/wiki/social learning).

1. Edmodo

This is a technological tool which facebook like by which the students and teachers are connected together. In this many classes are connected together online learning the same lesson taught by a certain teacher staying some where. For example, one class can be in Mbeya in Tanzania and the other class in Britain. Through this information centered on a certain thing is obtained and exchanged by different students.

2. Grockit

It is a tool applied in technological media by which the students themselves are connected together and share the different information. In this the students will be widened their knowledge through interaction with other others technologically. For example the students may be in Rukwa region in Tanzania while others in Mbeya region in the same country discussing a certain issue related to their studies or other wise.

3. EduBlogs

EduBlogs this is where the students may create a blog for themselves or for classroom then the information related to their study is shared in the sense that if there is any new information to be shared is sent into the classroom blog or if there is any view or comments can be pressed through the created blog. For example, the discussed presentation questions are sent in the classroom blog in order for every student to get what was discussed in the presentation so as to get the general knowledge of the discussed content.

Skype is a tool for keeping in touch with other educators or even attending meetings online. Therefore, the students or educators are connected directly online, discussing by asking and answering questions verbally. It helps the educators to get the answer related to the questions and through this knowledge can be added and acquired. For example, a certain student may discuss with another educator outside the country.

It is a technological tool which shares lessons, media, and other materials online between teachers and students, or let the students collaborate themselves to build their own educational wiki on Wikispaces. In other way it is Wikipedia like by which the teacher can post the information or notes for the students to read and then the students pass through that in gaining knowledge by giving their views, editing and asking questions.

This is a tool in technology whereby a learner can pin just about any image interesting on this site; it is used by teachers to collect great lesson plans, projects, and inspirational materials. This helps the learner to be interested in a certain topic so as to add the knowledge and skills related to the study.

This is the tool in which the students share knowledge through socialization among themselves. It may include with other tools like facebook and interaction with other materials through internet. For example, teachers can manage lessons, engage students, share content, and connect with other educators.

This is the question and answer website where questions are created, answered, edited and organized by the users. It is done by the students after a normal classroom lesson. For example, the discussion is based on the questions posted in the website to be discussed by the students or educators.

It is an online platform for people to create their own social network. It allows anyone to create a personalized social network, which can be great for both teachers and students alike.

10. OpenStudy

Openstudy is a social learning network where students ask questions, give help and connect with other students studying something. It is done world wide regardless of school, location or background. Through this the content is acquired as the students interact openly in the study. 

11. ePals

This is the technological tool in social learning whereby the students focuse in the study of language and understanding culture of others in different places through reading various sources or materials. One of the coolest benefits of the Web is being able to connect with anyone, anywhere.
